About me
Danielle

I’m passionate and dedicated to helping individuals with neurological conditions live their best lives. Your goals are always my priority and sessions are thoughtfully designed to be individualised, stimulating and enjoyable. My treatment approach is holistic, dynamic and research-based.

I graduated at Wits university in 2016 and after a year of community service at Thelle Mogoerane Hospital, I stayed to head up and run the neuro rehab department. I completed my masters degree in physiotherapy, specializing in neurology and neurosurgery at Wits in 2022. I spent two years working at a special interest private practice, working closely in a multi-disciplinary team gaining experience working in the private sector.

I also lecture part-time and supervise the Wits university physiotherapy students in the area of adult neurology.
Testimonials
Andy M.
“Two years ago I was diagnosed with Transverse Myelitis, a neurological condition which affected my walking and balance. I contacted Dani to see if she could treat me. Dani came to assess me and I was so impressed as she explained my condition to me in such a logical way. She knew so much about this rare condition and had treated patients with this before. Dani started treating me and wow is all I can say. She is so strong and knowledgable and explains every exercise with such clarity. Every time she came to treat me, she bounced in with the biggest smile on her face and gave me such positive feedback. I improved so much and today one would never believe where I was two years ago. I’m now able to drive and live a normal life. Hugest thanks to Dani for always believing in me and getting me to where I am today. May there be more Dani Schneiders in the world!”

“Dani has been treating my 85 year old mum since she had a stroke in December 2021. Dani is a very skilled therapist. She made my mum feel comfortable and displayed alot of patience with her. My mum enjoyed having her physio sessions. I also appreciated Dani always accommodating us especially on days my mum wasn't feeling well and I would need to reschedule. I was able to call Dani whenever needed for advice and recommendations on how to assist my mum. I really appreciated Dani's services and would recommend her anytime ”
